Would depend on your economic situation. Cost of living in Alabama is very low compared to California and if you are making decent money with a company already and they want you to move to one versus the other, you would best be served dollar wise choosing Alabama and its lower cost of living. You see looks while many would choose based on quality of life and ability to do other things than say they live in California. Personally I would not fit in out in Cali, way too many liberals I would want to choke the life out of after a five minute conversation with them. While I dont presently live in Alabama, my money goes much farther out here than it would in Cali and thats enough reason for me to say no thank you to a Cali lifestyle.
