I think we should design a play with Brian Urlacher in the backfield, pitch it out to him and let him throw a touchdown pass. he started his football career as a quarterback then became a runningback . then moved to the defense. and he can throw really good at the games in warmups if you ever go to a bears game you will see him in the warm ups. it would be an awsome play

Man, I hope Webb and Carimi become the studs that they can be.

Anyone a tad nervous that the Bears are gonna lowball Kreutz and we'll lose him? I know his play has declined, but he's still a badass, and will stomp some shit if need be....you need that on yer o-line.

Our interior of our d-line worries me a touch as well....Harris looked pretty good towards the end of the year? I liked Melton and Toeina's play, and who knows how the rook will play, but I still think some dominance is lacking on the inside. Maybe Melton takes that next step, or maybe the bring in Mebane from Seattle, but right now it worries me. Safety is a concern too. Assuming the dumbasses let D. Manning walk, that automatically anoints Major wright. I like this kid, but I worry he'll be another injury-prone safety that you'll always wonder what coulda been.

Last thing...while I like our WR's, I can't help but question why we couldn't make things work with Aromashodu?? I imagine he played his part...maybe the heroics the last 4 games of the previous season went straight to his head, maybe the traditional WR diva took hold, but the fact remains, that he and Cutler had instant chemistry, that translated into some gaudy numbers..be it 4 somewhat meaningless games, but I digress. Hell, in the opener this last year...in the game that he supposedly got himself benched, he led the team in catches?? Sometimes I wonder if Martz's stubborness gets the best of him? And I know a tall receiver won't solve all our problems, (especially considering our putrid o-line) but I don't like having my starting 3 receivers all basically be the same receiver...different skillsets and size and such is not a bad thing.

That is all :D

I for one am glad there's not gonna be a HOF game. 5 preseason games is too many.

Now if we could just get the trip to London cancelled.

NOW HERE IS A CAUSE I KNOW YOU WILL SUPPORT!

WALK NAKED IN AMERICA DAY

Don't forget to mark your calendars.
As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see any woman
other
than his wife naked and if he does, he must commit suicide.

So next Saturday at 1 P.M. Eastern Time, all American women are asked to
walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood
terrorists.

Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this anti-terrorist
effort.

All patriotic men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of
their houses to demonstrate their support for the women and to prove that
they are not Muslim terrorist sympathizers.

Since Islam also does not approve of alcohol, a cold 6-pack at your side
is further proof of your patriotism.

The American government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists
and applauds your participation in this anti-terrorist activity.

God Bless America!!

tk, misk..nice to see some folks stop by the Bears page;)

FA has begun. Good article on BSPN bout whom the Bears may pursue. I agree with the writer that the Bears will be active in FA, but will not land a big name....which is fine. Save some cheddar and fill a couple holes. Two names; Malcolm Floyd and Robert Gallery. I would pee a little if we got Floyd. He would be a perfect fit, and is affordable.

Looks as tho Brad "shank" Maynard will no longer be the Bears punter. Good riddance.

Big questions...can Major Wright stay healthy? And, will the decision to let Daniel Manning walk come back to haunt us?

The Bears are so irritating.

So, great job with Devin Aromashodu. Way to groom young and upcoming talent...ahh fuck that, lets squash him right as he starts to blossom, and then let him walk to Viking for nothing in return.

So now, twice a year, we get to be reminded of our stupidity.
