brady misses first four games without pay
patriots only fined $1M

they still come out ahead in the deal

nfl hearts the patriots
ummm

its then largest fine in NFL history. a first round pick. a 4th.

if you think this is light it proves your blind patriot hate.

As Black said

How would Pats fans be responding if Eli was found to have deflated balls after beating them twice?

Can you even imagine?

How did the Bounty Scandal not make it here? I thought that was worse than any of these. Paying players to specifically hurt other players damages the game more than the slight advantage the Patriots got from deflating footballs. Everyone is quick to say DeflateGate is the worst because it is the most recent, but really, would you rather have doctored footballs or injured players?
i honestly made the list and started running out of ideas with all the scandals.

mea culpa for that sucker.

use "other"

That wasn't cheating and there wasn't an orchestrated coverup, nor a decade-long culture of deceit.

"Brady didn't help his own cause. Telling the world he didn't know equipment manager Jim McNally, or that he had only 30 hours to digest a report everyone else read immediately, is insulting to the intelligence. It's all basically a dare, just like Patriots owner Robert Kraft's demand of an apology from the commissioner even before the investigation was complete. It was poking the bear, and on Monday the bear poked back".

like always...no idea. the jets did the same thing that same season, vs the pats...and it was swept under the rug.

So you're claiming no competitive advantage was gained, yet you don't have an answer for why they continued to film from the position that the league even specified with a direct memo to each team in the league prior to the start of the season. C'mon rock.

and believe it or not, football players are actually trying to hurt each other so they can help their team win.

so, you didnt read my poll right?

no big deal if you cooperate and admit it. ;)

if brady cooperates and admits what he knew, he gets a slap on the wrist

instead he tried to be a tough guy and got fucked.

80k don't spend their time deciphering what they mean, though.

Pats were filming and using it from previous match-ups of the same opponent to recognize the play coming in from the sideline. That is precisely where the competitive advantage gained comes from.
