i am still worried, i remember someone i forget who it was but it was back in or around 2001-2005 that went through this. They tore their knee up then had a great offseason only to tear it completely in preseason or the first couple of games. I forget who it was .... if anyone remembers please post it.

see the thing is he tore his mcl?acl? with out surgery that tare will not "mend" itself it will always be there making that knee weaker. It may heal and scar over but the tare with out surgery will not "sow" itself back together. It all comes down to how big that tare was, obviously it wasn't a complete tare but how big it was ( 1%/5%/10%/20% ) is the big thing here. If it was 20% or more that knee wont last the season.

actually it might have been in the 90's lol geez i don't remember...

yes they have "if" they have surgery. he didn't. People in the 90's heal just as well as people now :P. The Surgeries have got much better though yes.

This is way to positive a storyline for the press to cover. They must find another player whose going to complain about how much they feel slighted in salary and report it to hysteria level of coverage.

I'm not so sure. Don't you think the injury rehab knowledge/process has improved in the last 20 years?

Seriously. I tore my MCL 20ish years ago. No surgery. Half of my PT was walking on a stair stepper backwards. And I'm not kidding. And this was at the same PT facility the Sonics were using.
