On that I cannot really disagree. OSU definitely had chances to win, but to argue they clearly got both calls right is absurd.

No different than my thoughts on Saints.....clearly they missed that call, nut NO still could have won.

The absurdity is claiming that either call they got wrong.

Why are you using an old rulebook? I quoted line by line, even listing the section and article numbers from the current rulebook.
You posted part of it. Good lord, dude. I used a link from the current rule book. It was a fumble.

Who cares what some loser reporter thinks? I'll trust the rules experts and the NCAA rulebook.
The "loser" reporter who has made a very comfortable living covering college football as an accomplished analyst every day of his life? How can you be this stupid?

why does full speed or slow mo matter? Catching the ball and going 3 steps upfield is a catch.

If the Clemson player was in the end zone and possessed the ball without bobbling it, and took three steps before going out of bounds, is it not a TD? Simple question. As it was, where he never bobbled it, held it firm in both hands and took 3-4 steps, is it not a TD?

He had the ball for like 1/4 of a second, IMO, that doesn't constitute possession. Don't get taken in by super slow motion replays.
3 steps is 3 steps, whether slow mo or real time. Try to get that.

Covering players is not the same as covering the rules. I'll take current and ex-referees judgment over a reporter.

Except you really didn't. Players with one foot down are credited with a catch, so how can a guy take 4 steps in-bounds with control of the ball and have it not be a catch? How do you explain that?

By NCAA rule they got them wrong...for certain the fumble/TD. Troll the NCAA?
ARTICLE 3. a. To catch a ball means that a player:
1. Secures firm control with the hand(s) or arm(s) of a live ball in flight before the ball touches the ground, and
2. Touches the ground in bounds with any part of his body, and then
3. Maintains control of the ball long enough to enable him to perform an act common to the game, i.e., long enough to pitch or hand the ball, advance it, avoid or ward off an opponent, etc.

Gets the first 2 parts, but not the 3rd.

Because he dropped it. Didn't you watch the game?

Did you answer the question posed earlier....if this happened in the end zone, clear catch then 3 steps, was it a TD?

With no drop after 3 steps? It's a TD. With a drop after 3 steps? It's incomplete.

After 4 steps with total control of the ball. Do you know how to count to 4? Do you know that any player who fully possesses a ball and takes 4 steps is credited with a catch? Do you even watch football at all?
