It's an unbelievable win and huge one for sure Ace. I'm just glad Kirby is going to get some rest. We're going to need him 100% for Houston. It's absolutely awesome that the Mariners - the longest major US sport drought in history made the playoffs with the expanded rules, but most importantly got through to the next round. They belong there.

I mean as cheesy and outlandish as this sounds.. if Hollyweird is going to recast Major League (which was the Cleveland Indians), ya might as well just pick the Mariners, lol.

Not to de-rail anyone's night, I think most of us expect to lose against Houston.... but we'll see where it goes. It's fun to be watching your home team unite as a group and be in the game. I'm glad Seattle will get a playoff home game. Unlike Wilson, it's fairly obvious Seattle fans (who showed up at the stadium tonight) are going to cheer the team on. That's a feel good experience.

Woke up this morning still in disbelief, unreal!

Bottom line, if we can somehow get through Houston then we are going full Atlanta on our way to the World Series. It sure as hell won’t be easy, but the gigantic failures from yesterday (servais handle of Ray and Sewald specifically) may actually strengthen those two for their next opportunities. Those guys didn’t have it and that’s fine, but the skipper has to do better and I hope he learned something there.

This team is dangerous and the fact that we get to reset the rotation after Gilbert is huge.

Been out of town this weekend so haven't had much of a chance to post but damn, what a weekend for the Mariners. I'm still in shock. I figured yesterday's game was over at 8-1 (OK, if I'm being honest I thought it was over at 4-0). But for whatever reason I couldn't bring myself to turn the game off. Incredible.

Angels sub is freaking hilarious. I've also enjoyed reading the cheater's sub over the last several seasons. There isn't a more defensive group in MLB. They always play the Astros up as victims over everything, but they shouldn't have a world series and deep down they know it. It's quite amusing.
