Answered it perfectly. You posed an incomplete question.

If that catch took place in the end zone, it's a TD, as it should be. Firmly holding the ball without bobbling it and taking 4 steps. It's as black and white as it gets.like irrational people do, in fact, you have avoided and still avoid answering.
He took 3-4 steps ADVANCING the ball. Glad you've finally come around now, right?ARTICLE 3. a. To catch a ball means that a player:
1. Secures firm control with the hand(s) or arm(s) of a live ball in flight before the ball touches the ground, and
2. Touches the ground in bounds with any part of his body, and then
3. Maintains control of the ball long enough to enable him to perform an act common to the game, i.e., long enough to pitch or hand the ball, advance it, avoid or ward off an opponent, etc.
Gets the first 2 parts, but not the 3rd.
But you didn't. Like, not even at all. Just deflection and avoidance.Answered it perfectly. You posed an incomplete question.
i didn't pose it, he did. 2-3 times. You avoided it each time. Is it a TD or not? Would multiple choice help?Answered it perfectly. You posed an incomplete question.
After 4 steps with total control of the ball. Do you know how to count to 4? Do you know that any player who fully possesses a ball and takes 4 steps is credited with a catch? Do you even watch football at all?
But you didn't. Like, not even at all. Just deflection and avoidance.
that's what the irrational do. Dance, deflect, avoid, etc.But you didn't. Like, not even at all. Just deflection and avoidance.
So what you're saying is, if a player catches a ball in the endzone, firmly possesses it and doesn't bobble it, takes 4 steps and then hands the ball to the ref, it's not a TD? Are you being serious?Clearly you've not become acquainted with the rules. The catch rules were clarified this year...perhaps you should do some research before embarrassing yourself further.

A) TD
B) no TD

Why do you say "drop"? He didn't drop the pass, dumbass. He firmly caught it, took 4 steps, and then was stripped. With no drop it's a TD. How can it be any more clear than that?
using your own rules you showed he ADVANCED the ball taking 3-4 steps. Would 3 steps not be advancing the ball?Clearly you've not become acquainted with the rules. The catch rules were clarified this year...perhaps you should do some research before embarrassing yourself further.
Why would you say "drop" when there wasn't a drop?Did they drop it, or did they hand it to the ref?
He knows it's a fumble, he's just pissed that he painted himself into a corner.using your own rules you showed he ADVANCED the ball taking 3-4 steps. Would 3 steps not be advancing the ball?
How many steps you think he needs? 5 do it? 10? If he goes 20 yards?
I never suggested the calls were right. The reversal of the fumble/run back for TD was pretty stupid. On that I cannot really disagree. OSU definitely had chances to win, but to argue they clearly got both calls right is absurd.
No different than my thoughts on Saints.....clearly they missed that call, nut NO still could have won.
call it a drop to the ground if you want. Or how about catches it, 3 steps, then spikes it? You choose.Did they drop it, or did they hand it to the ref?
He's resorting to childish insults unrelated to the conversation. Like I said, he knows it was a fumble.call it a drop to the ground if you want. Or how about catches it, 3 steps, then spikes it? You choose.
