Tons of people call him Boozer the loser...first saw it in like 09 on CBS.

It's okay, we Hooplans are open minded. You can admit you're the tranny. Btw, cbs is where SportsChic migrated from.

No, it's fine.

Until I became a poster at Fannation, I tended to keep my gender to myself.

Mainly because your reaction is what happens more times than not.

That was impossible here because of all the Fannation refugees.

You are entitled to your thought process and I should have been more thick-skinned about it.

Again, apologies and no need for eggshells because of me.

I made basketball points though, the commentary was not necessary. It's not like I look at all your posts and discount them, that's not the deal so I apologize as well.

Gugy commented on one of my stories, Mecca...told him
about this place & he said he was burned out on FN (tired of trolling & personal attacks), advised him it's different here. Think he'll join.

I'm trying to think of the name of the Bulls fan from CBS who I first saw call him "Boozer the loser"...it was one of the more popular Bulls fans on the board, but can't remember his name. I saw him post here, but I don't think he posts here much.

Yes, you did.

That's why I had to admit I was wrong for the way I responded :suds:.

Next Summer, If I'm the Lakers, I do what Dallas did.

Instead of focusing solely on the biggest Fish, I'd try to snatch up a couple Tier 2 guys while nobody is looking.

Dragic should be the 1st call they make at 12:01.

I apologize for calling you a pig.

That was uncalled for:yield:.

Back to Phil.....

I think he would have said yes and that Jim pulled the rug from underneath him.

My Reasoning?

Jeanie's statements after the fact.

You can dismiss the speculation from outsiders. But, from her, it's a bit more damning.

"Why did they have to do that?" Jeanie Buss wrote in the November edition of the book first published in 2010. "Why did Jim pull Phil back into the mix if he wasn't sincere about it? ...

"Phil wasn't looking for the job, and then he wasted 36 hours of his life preparing for it when they were never in a million years going to hire him anyway.

"How do you do that to your sister? How do you do that to Phil Jackson?"

That was really the only issue that I had with all of that. I felt that Phil's time was over and agreed with the franchise wanting to move away from the triangle and back to a more uptempo style. I'm not convinced that the triangle can be as effective anymore as it was.

But flirting with Phil and letting Lakers fans think that Phil was coming back, was wrong. It was wrong to do to Phil, it was wrong to do to the fans and it set D'Antoni up for failure.

I hope he does.

Wish we could find JGB and Justin too.

I'll keep any social commentary off of the NBA board, funny or not.

Some jokes just don't work on a message board. My guess is that if you were able to say it face to face, it would have come across a lot different.

I've had to :L myself a time or 2 because of that very reason.

Honestly, before they hired Mr. Potato Head, I thought they should have given the job to Adelman :noidea:.

So, is Byron the guy or do you see them going after a Oldhead, like JVG/Karl.

What about Mark Jackson?

I wanted Adelman too. The Corner offense has some of the same principles as the Triangle.

remind me again when Dwight was calling for phil Jackson as coach was dantoni already the coach or was that prior to hiring him? seemed like that effected the franchise. lets just say for example if phil turns around the knicks. maybe they don't win championships or whatever but ill be saying it was a mistake to let him escape to new York.

its very likely could have gave him a one or 2 year deal as coach then put him in higher position when he was ready to call it quits.

Okay, you got me there:lol:.

Again, this is all ancient History anyway.

You can only go forwards and it looks like he is letting Mitch do his job like you stated earlier.

TY about my sig.

I came across it when I was taking a Philosophy class and the topic of discussion was " Turning the other cheek":suds:.

Jim catches a lot of flak. Much of it is deserved. Heck, I think I was the first one on SportsHoopla to start calling him Short Buss. But when I look at what has actually happened, he hasn't been quite the unmitigated disaster that he's portrayed to be.

Don't get me wrong, no one's going to be nominating him for owner of the year.

But he's not exactly Donald Sterling either.
