Announcing it during the finals might take attention away from the finals, but all things considered...that might not be a bad thing. lol

There are concerns about tampering if the Lakers coach is on TV talking about players on other teams. It's silly, but it's out there.

Families are always part of the decision. He was asking her to consider uprooting from a life and place where she is happy and comfortable to move 3000 miles away. New city, new house, new job...away from family and friends.

That's a huge move. Not everyone is cool with that.

Plus the article said that once they got out here, saw everything, met Jeanie and Rob, experienced the weather...she warmed up to the idea.
