So far they've shown that 3 games on the average is their limit and that's about .450 ball. That extra single measly game for the rest of the season would be asking them to play at .597 (52-35) which would give them 87 wins.

I think that moving Revere up in front of Brown in the lineup would be an improvement if Revere is not going to lead off. I've almost given up on seeing Dom Bombs the rest of the season so I probably won't have to worry about buying that bridge someone offered if Brown suddenly bloomed as I expected. But then I fall back on, "maybe he'll heat up in July." We'll be running out of months soon. If he does get hot I think we can win 4 games a week.

Can't you ever stop? There is zero chance of that happening. I know what you must be thinking...but what if 7-surgery Grady Sizemore can play like he did several years ago? hahahaha

Yeah, you can't just break it down like that. The season is full of streaks. That's like when people try to predict the next 10 or 15 games based on the starting pitching matchups. There are way to many variables.

Hey in 2006, Sizemore had a .907 OPS. Maybe someone has a bridge to sell me, but I always fall back on "What if he can repeat that production?" If he does get hot, I think we can win 95 games this year.

If they trade Utley they should bring back Ted Sizemore

Of course there are variables. The pitching and bullpen must hold up. It's possible they will. The old crew must continue to play reasonably well. That's possible. We've got Byrd and Howard who may likely each hit 25 HRs and drive in 90-100 runs. Asche has caught on and will get even better. But Brown has not done the expected by hitting for such a poor average. Yes we can play .600 ball if Brown pushes his average up 50 points and regains his power stroke. Yes, douche bags, you heard it here first!

Yeah, I never even disputed that. I just think it's silly to make it seem easier than it is by breaking it down into 7 day periods.

Obviously it's more like an average and you know that, silly. Maybe that might have a 5 game win streak thrown in.

I don't know weather it's the quality of california pot or the year-round sun that bakes your brain, but I always thought that you had a strange attitude. Yup, sell'em all today, give me those god damn prospects. Fucken team ain't going anywhere.
