How many title caliber roster has he played with? Dude made the finals in a tough east with rashad lewis/hedo as the 2nd best player on his roster. He got a nice 1-2 punch now but they need a new coach who focuses on defense.

Then he got sent to school in 5 games by a Lakers team with an injured Andrew Bynum.

Supposedly, he has one in Houston, yet he got a 1st round exit. You can try and make all of the excuses for him that you want. Bottom line is, he isn't much of a leader and he can't be counted on late in games. That's unacceptable for a "superstar".

As bad a free throw shooter as Shaq was, he reached a point in his career where he didn't have to pulled from the lineup late in games. When he reached that point, he started winning titles.

Considering Pau Gasol had to guard "the most physical and dominate center in the game today". I'd say that was domination.

Funny thing is Dwight numbers with the Lakers were very similar to his last year in Orlando & first year in Houston. Dwight hated dantoni offensive philosophy and who can blame him?

Yet he's perfectly happy running a similar offense in Houston.

I agree with you though. If Jackson was rehired instead of D'Antoni, Dwight would still be in Los Angeles.

He may very well have gotten the rings that bks thinks he would if he went to any of those teams, but he wouldn't have gotten them as a leader or #1 option on any of those teams. He basically would have been Chris Bosh on those teams.

I lied. Nelson wasn't out but he just came back (clearly still hurting) from an injury that kept him out of play for 4 months. The man was clearly not in any game shape or healthy. I think it goes at least 6 with a healthy nelson....possibly 7
