They dialed up some blitzes, Avril wasn't getting held anymore, Woods was out (losing your center is huge, assignments, shifts, snaps are not as crisp and not to mention you're just not as good as Woods).

I think losing Woods cost Buff the game. He and Richie were stopping ANY sort of pass rush up the middle and the holes for McCoy were huge with Woods in.

Not sure if that cost them the game but it certainly didn't help. The back up was getting beaten like a drum or one of APs children.
