Blandino that moron disagreed with you.

I'll see what the league says later in the week. There is no way it can be roughing the kicker. Sherman blocked the kick before touching Carpenter.

IF they want to say it is unnecessary roughness because he was unimpeded I think he needs to talk to the refs.

Sherman said he got a hand on the punt when he ran into the kicker. If you don't believe him, then that's your right.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Sherman absolutely touched the ball. He his knocked the ball out of the placement by the place holder. Then he hit Carpenter.

He had his hand on the ball. WTF are you talking about?
I've yet to see that yet. Again when trying to block a FG you dive arms extended out in front where the ball will be not where it was. Unlike a punt you don't try and take it off the kickers foot. On a FG you'll be late and miss it. You project out infront.

unlike the refs who went balls deep tonight
Did you watch the whole game? The bills didn't get called for holding several times. Actually IMO, I think the refs did a good job on calling penalties on both sided. Sure they missed a few calls on both teams.

It's simple, Sherman was offsides but continued to block the kick, Carpenter went vagina soccer player mode and didn't get the call. If Carpenter doesnt act like he had just been impregnated by Rex Ryan with twin boys they don't have to take him out, buffalo get 3 and the ball at halftime.

The NFL should allow teams unlimited challenges when refs fuck up the clock management. Any time the ref give the team the ball with 5 seconds on the clock coaches should be allowed to scream CLOCK DUMB FUCKS

I've said this forever. You should get unlimited challenges until you miss two or have no timeouts. As long as you still lose a timeout for a bad challenge it won't make much of a difference other than ensuring if the refs keep fucking up they can keep being corrected.

If he did have his hand on the ball prior to contact I'll stand corrected. I've only seen the replay a couple times and that's not how I saw it.

Carpenter wouldn't have got the roughing the kicker call, as Sherman touch the ball in his attempt to block it. Yes Sherman was offside and he was called for it.

They showed a quote from Blandino during the game. I believe he said it was unecessary roughness. Not a running into the kicker.

Problem is Buffalo had no time outs to challenge, plus it was inside of two minutes. The unlimited challenges should be mainly used when refs are holding the ball not allowing a team to run a play as the play clock is running under 15 seconds, or when ever the clock operator forgets to reset the damn thing.

That's kinda what I said except you're much more eloquent than me:suds:

You could do some real damage as a clock operator if you're sneaky about it. Just run a few extra second off the clock with 8 minutes left in the game and your team trying to run the clock out. Happens all the time.

Sorry but touching the ball in the holders hands isn't the same as blocking the kick. Many Seahawk fans admitted the call should have been made, maybe it's time you see the truth.

Does the clock operator work for the Seahawks? :D

I didnt get to see any of this game but listened on the radio so missed this issue at the end of the first half.

As I was driving home from a late night in the office I had on ESPN sports talk radio and all the talk was how the NFL refs totally fucked up and clearly missed a 15 yard penalty which would have been huge in the game.

The statements made on the radio by the host and another sports writer was that it was clearly a penalty.

Do we now need a thread "Post if your team won because of the refs"
