if you are a QB & having to move homes. Every one should want to go to the colts.
Problem is. Why would the Browns want to trade Mayfield to a team that will keep the Browns from making the playoffs?
The Browns should want to trade him to the NFC.....they aren't getting enough in return to send him to another team in the AFC.

Landry wants to return? So, it wasn't OBJ?

LOL.
No, he still was a problem. Landry never wanted to leave but they couldn’t come to contract restructuring negotiations. He still might not come back bc Will Fuller and DW are best friends.
Fuller is made of glass so not crazy about that

Usually takes a 1st to move up in the 1st round....no?
No and they don’t have a 1st. It would be to be move to early 2nd or late 1st

You'll have to surrender quite a bit of capital to do that. Usually future year picks are devalued one pick from current. So a 2023 2nd rounder is considered a 3rd... especially given Cleveland is expected to compete/be good (meaning the pick will be late).

To trade into the 1st you'd obviously have to sacrifice your 2nd, plus next years 2nd, and probably a 3rd to boot. You'd be ALL in for 2022-23, which IMO is not the right thing to do. Watson is not 35.. he's mid 20s... and you're STUCK with him for his contract. There's no reason to rush it.

I can't imagine a scenario where Cleveland is trading up at this point. It would be a very Cleveland thing to do... lol. IMO trade Mayfraud for a 3rd or 4th rounder, and see what falls to you in the draft.

I can't see anyone trading away no.1 picks to get Mayfield when he hasn't proven anything.
