I hear you sonny, but by the same token Brady would not be the success he's been with BB and his system....BB obviously perfected his system with Brady at QB, but should have made the playoffs with Cassell under center with an 11-5 season....Jimmy 3 of 4 out of the gate....
BB just needed time to get everything in place and once he did, it was Katie bar the door, no matter who was under center....
Is Tom better than those 2, well Cassell yes, Jimmy yes at this point, but he is definitely a system qb although a very good one....
But what matters in the end are the SB's and he has the most til somebody beats it....And that's the bottom line my friend....

Bill Belichick had/has absolutely NOTHING to do with the offense. The original offense was constructed by Charlie Weiss. Chip Kelly was instrumental in helping Weiss when he was the OC at the University of NH. Weiss passed the offense onto Josh McDaniel who is an outstanding QB coach. Josh gave it Bill O'Brien and then took it back.
McDaniel will never get much credit for all of the tweaking and changes he's made to fit the offense to Tom Brady's abilities.

When have you ever in 17 years seen Bill Belichick take the offense aside during a game to talk to them?? NEVER.
How many times has BB taken the defense aside during a game or playoff game?? Maybe 50??

They missed the playoffs both years Brady didn't play and have been to 11 AFCG and 6 SB's with TB.

Honestly, I think Peyton could have had similar success in Cleveland. As it was, he carried a garbage Colts team to contention every year.

I think Montana could have easily won in Chicago because they had Sweetness a wicked defense in the '80s. Put him on the '80s Bucs and he never comes close to the legendary status he has now.

Those Colts teams were loaded on offense.

As far a Cassell, we all know he wasn't a good qb, but BB won 11 games with him and with some stroke of bad luck missed the playoffs.....I'm still against the system that allows a 7-9 team in and blocks an 11-5 team....It just seems wrong to me.....

Not a Great QB....But not good?

What is he now, 13 years in the league? 14 years?
QB's don't last that long with being at least good.
