Can you imagine the Browns fanbase if Wentz plays lights out against them? LOL.I don't agree with starting Wentz week 1 but I can see the rationale. The Browns suck, and Wentz should be able to beat them.
seems kinda nuts considering his lack of reps.Sooooooo
Really aggravating news... the Eagles once again spin a mediocre QB into gold.
How is there always a sizzling market for someone else's "maybe not outright ugly but certainly not hot" pedestrian starting QB? Who were the Vikings bidding against?
Just shows the value of a "competent" QB in the NFL... and the lack of such competency that must be out there.

It's really an unexpected gift for the Eagles. They signed Bradford prior to knowing that they would be able to land Wentz. Once they were able to land Wentz, Bradford became a lame duck QB as the Eagles no longer had the need to renegotiate a long term deal with him. I honestly thought Bradford would be dealt on Draft Day for a Day 3 pick and I would have been happy with it. So to get a 1st "and" and extra pick the following year (which can potentially be as high as a 2nd) is a gift in our laps. I think another gift was getting Doriel Green Beckham ... hearing him talk he realizes that he took many things for granted with the Titans and is ready to work hard and put that behind him. DGB has the size/talent to develop into a top notch receiver. He's only 23 and signs are pointing up since joining the team.
Any takers for Ryan Nassib?Andy Reid was really a genius at this, taking a mid-round QB, grooming him as your #2 and then dealing him to some poor sucker for draft picks.

Or he looks that damn good in practice.

I agree that Dorial has a better chance of turning it around. I'm just saying these lazy guys need to do more than talk.Randle's going into his 5th year? DGB's only his rookie season in ... plus DGB has much better physical tools than Randle ever had. Two completely different situations. Not saying that I expect Doriel to become a 1300 yard guy from the jump, but he still has plenty of time to turn things around.
