The refs were terrible yesterday. You have to account for that when playing at Jerry World. They mugged Tress Way and couldn't even get a running into the kicker call. They did miss Charles on a false start. They were bad.

If the season is lost by week 10 and they let Wentz play past that they are just giving away a high 2nd rounder out of spite.

I'm gonna let Wentz play until he hits that 69% snap count and then I go to Howell.

Kbso, what is your record that gets Rivera gone and what is the record that Snyder sees enough and pulls the trigger?

Me = now (lol). Realistically, I am going to say anything under 9-10 wins
Snyder = 5-6 wins

Me personally, I'm ready to move on from Rivera now. I think he's a decent coach and a leader of men, but Ron the GM has created more holes than he's plugged.

I expect this team to get hot like Rivera teams usually do, but I just don't see us winning it all with him as long as he is in charge of roster construction.

He let DeAndre Carter go to sign that guy from Carolina (Eriksen?) who he cut. So now we have Dax who looks like he's running in quicksand returning kicks and punts.

He chose Mills over Ioannidis and Mills didn't make it out of camp. With Mills gone the defensive line is playing well again.

I have no faith in Mayhew or Marty. If they are really running things like the Junkies insisted this morning than what's with all the ex Panthers.

For Dan? Maybe 2-15? But even then I think Dan would pick the QB and leave Ron in charge to be the fall guy if the QB he picks sucks.

Right.

The longer this goes on, the longer it will take to fix. If fired, the new GM/coach/head of the front office has about 10 million to play with. Its absurd.

If things go south he'll have 50m. 27 from Wentz and another 15 combined from Fuller and Jax.

I honestly believe ten days from now we could really be sitting at 3-3. I think we've seen the last of Trai Turner. Robinson and Larsen back this week. Chase back in two or three weeks. Schweitzer can get in there at RG in three weeks. You never know.

Thats right...I forgot about Wentz's salary. Agreed with Jax and Fuller...that will save a ton.

Some of this will go to Payne...or it should at least IMO.

Agreed. 3-3 is worst-case scenario from the standpoint of actually moving forward. It would prove that the team can beat crappy teams but not compete with good teams. I see us only being in 3rd place at best, but probably 4th in the division.

I think some fans would actually think we turned the corner; however, they would be wrong. We are nowhere close to Philly and DAL right now period. Hoovering around .500 would prevent what ultimately needs to occur: a tear down.

That is always my fear; not being "bad enough" to fire the whole staff, but not being good enough to compete. The merry-go-round of mediocrity is hard to get off of sometimes.

I'm hopeful, but not optimistic. The fight with Allen. Taking Mathis with the 2nd. Might have to end up franchising him.

From a macro standpoint you are probably right. Dallas drafts so fkn well.
