Me and my big ideas. :L

We have a huge influx of Boston sports fans and what do I do? Bump a thread about Bill Russell. :der:
My advise is to go after Irving Fryar next time. Bill Russell is kind of a big deal around here.

Even though he is a pretentious pain in the ass.

Know how many receptions Irving Fryar had in his rookie season?

Bulls would a beat 8 in a row if Jordan didn't go to baseball in the 90's .... That would a been even more of a feat considering the parity in the leauge compared to way back when Russell played... Talent was way more lopsided back then... In all seriousness though, I think the 90's Bull's could a won a decade of championships in a row... No joke... Jordan was just that good and he made everyone around him better...

Did he mention that he didn't know he had more titles than LeBron had turnovers until somebody told him?

If he did then he's making it up as he goes, Lebron has averaged 3 turnovers per game in his career which would add up to over 3 * 72 =216 turnovers per year. Russell had 11 titles so lets get real here

Calm down with that. Houston was no joke.. and I wouldnt just give Jordan titles over them. Also, Jordan did come back and got the ball ripped from him by Nick Anderson and knocked out of the playoffs. Yea, I know it didnt count because Jordan didnt play enough time that season to win. I mean if he had won, we would credit him with it.

The only thing more annoying than those who think Russell is the greatest are those that think Jordan was incapable of losing.

If Jordan came into the league at the same time as Larry and Magic he would be lucky to have 1 ring. Beating up on an ancient Pistons team and the Jazz is no big thang.

The Bulls would have never made it out of the Eastern Conference to face the Lakers unless it was '83 when Doc and Philly beat up on Boston.

Minnie Sota and Los Angeleez are almost 2 thousand miles apart and last I checked none of the real Lakers fans from the land of 10,000 Lakes is is laying claim to the titles won by the team playing where a drainage culvert is considered a "lake".

It wasn't Doc as much as it was Andrew Toney. Gawd I hated that little fuker back then.
