Doubtful on the cliff lee thing...that contract is enough to scare off the Sox...they have the pieces they can offer Philly without strip mining the elite talent in the system (despite what retarded reds fans think)...but I don't see them locking them into a contract like that for a 34 year old pitcher...

I heard that same discussion...no chance WMB has the value today to be the centerpiece...

It would take a top prospect, I suggested WMB and Ranaudo...plus 2 more pieces....but that only works if Boston eats the whole thing...if they want Philly to absorb some of it? You can't get it done without WMB PLUS one of Bradley, Barnes, Bogaerts...plus another piece or 2...

That had nothing to do with Stern last night. That was all on the Miami defense and the young Pacers getting rattled and unable to gather themselves.


The Pacers turned the ball over 9 times in the first quarter... 15 times in the first half...

That game was well-reffed... They let them play. Miami just kicked their asses... no bones about it.
