The escape from Baltimore continues as Ravens linebacker Dannell Ellerbe on Tuesday agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins, according to NFL.com's Albert Breer.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday the deal is for five years and is worth $35 million.

This is a huge blow for the Ravens. They traded Anquan Boldin in large part because Baltimore wanted to lock up younger guys like Ellerbe. Breer reported Ellerbe was the team's top priority. The two sides negotiated all morning, but the Ravens clearly couldn't match Miami's cash -- and salary cap space. Paul Kruger also left Baltimore for division rival Cleveland on Tuesday.

While I appreciate the spirit of your post, Marvin isn't getting fired by Mike Brown any time soon, no matter how bad the year goes. Mikey just doesn't roll like that.....

If you lose Reed, that would be 5 (Pollard, Kruger, Lewis, Ellerbe) starters from your defense. I wouldn't only be panicking, I'd be sh*tting bricks!
