Dude they haven't finished better than 3rd in the western division of the SEC.Aggy doesn't fit that criteria: only one top 5 finish since 1956 (never accomplished that in the Big 12, but did it in their 1st year in the "toughest" conference in the country), last time they competed for a NC, Hitler was jacking off in prison, always voted in favor of unequal revenue sharing while in the Big 12 and rarely outrecruits big bro.......

Y'all Texas and Nebraska fans read this while us Other Big12 folk enjoy the ensuing discussion....
Jon Wefald’s book revisits Big 12’s origins, K-State’s football rise and controversy
The guy clearly doesn't have any idea what he's talking about...from the article:Huskers won't respond, since it says losing the partial qualifiers killed their program.
Never mind the fact that we won the Big 12 title in 1999 and played in the national championship in 2001...clearly the late 1990's were bad. AND it had nothing to do with one of the greatest CFB coaches of all time retiring. It's definitely because of partial qualifiers.By the late 1990s, this new Big 12 rule has seriously damaged the quality of Nebraska football. In fact, you could say it brought the era of Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne to a close.

What does that make you guys, Texas Tech 2.0?and now you're Iowa 2.0. I can't remember which husker it is, but one of them will come on here and blame travel time spent with recruits as the reason, then say "Texas is evil, blah blah"

I won't argue with that, but the fact remains that you don't get into that position by being a bad team. They weren't NC caliber, but they were still pretty good.that 2001 game. That was probably the worst decision the BCS ever made. Nebraska had no business being in that game and they proved it.

Yeah, you won't hear many Nebraska fans arguing with you on that one. We thought it was all over after Colorado.Just a crazy call. Colorado rolls Nebraska wins the West and the Big 12, but Nebraska gets the nod. Then Oregon rolls Colorado. Hate to stick up for the Ducks, but they got screwed.
Well OU anyway...Add OU and UT and it quickly becomes a strong and interesting division.
