Yes and I probably should be down playing him since you and Tommy are in our important draft coming up.
I know he won't be there for me in the 9th round so have at him.

Kudos.
I take it you're in the Hogan camp?

Looked and you guys are pretty much where everyone is. After the top 5 - it's basically a crapshoot - opinions start to vary quite a bit. ...
I was all over Ertz early on, but I've been fading lately. Want nothing to do with Gronk and Kelce this year, so I'm not sure how or who I'm going to approach yet.
All things considered - health, scoring, consistency - I'm starting to view TE as just a notch above DST which isn't saying much.

I just did a 16 team on this board and took Gronk with the 29th pick and had to think about it. If Lamar Miller was still on the board then I would've taken him over Gronk. Thats about where I'm at with TEs this year.

Ideally I'd like to get someone like Delanie Walker at a good value. Any lower than him and I'm basically just throwing the position away.

The two I'd totally avoid unless they really, really fall: Brate and Howard.

They are competing with each other, the Bucs D might be a little better and Winston is suspended. No way are they combining for 12 Tds and figuring out if Brate or Howard is the guy is probably going to be frustrating.

My eyes tell me that Howard would be expected for a huge year on almost any other team. But not that one.

Brate is one I like as a back up type to my starter, if I have a back up TE.

No obvious issues with either list. Glad to see the 'homerism' come out in you Joe - and you could just be spot on if the offense takes a big step forward - thus keeping limiting the opponents time on the field. ....

Here's the first article of the 2019 season.
The annual look at the coaching changes and their background.

Today’s Fantasy Impact of the 2019 Coaching Changes, and Yesterday

Was a good read Joe!

Wanted to make a suggestion though.

Every coach/OC has tendencies. For example, until he was fired, DeFilipo was a extreme pass first guy in Minny, which led to huge numbers for Thielen and Diggs at the expense of the RBs.

Might be a follow up article here in which you take a deep dive into these coaching changes and project fantasy winners/losers based on past tendencies?

I know that is a ton of work, but also the kind of analysis that I think fits right into your wheelhouse.

Really appreciate that.
Was gonna try to go that route, but you're right when you say it "is a ton of work."
Especially when more than half the league changes coordinators.
That's a lot of history/seasons/tendancies to research.
A follow-up article is a good idea.
