Anyone watching training camp with the Falcons. Mike Tice is the Oline coach and Brian Cox is the Dline coach. Neither guy comes off as too smart. Love that Mathews kid, son of former great. What round did they find that gem?

Funny. Tice looks like a moron and coaches like one too.

It's funny that Brian Cox is the Dline coach when he played linebacker.....

Unless it's this Brian Cox:

Pisition coaches don't always start out as a coach in their respective position. Ditka was a special teams coach

I remember being sooooo excited when the Bears got Bryan Cox. What a turd he turned out to be. It's like expecting vanilla pudding and taking a big spoonful of mayo instead.

Actually, a linebacker is the guy that knows best what defensive linemen should be doing to stop offenses. I dont know if he can teach proper blocking technique, probably has assistants for that, but as far as the line taking care of their responsibilities so the linebackers can blow up running backs, its a legitimate position. Just like his NFL career, he does his job and the linebacker (coach) will get the credit.
