I should've used the sarcasm font.
I was wondering about that since you were talking about Michigan.

agree, but they were anyway.
So all in on Justin Fields? If at any point fields gets injured this season OSU is in serious trouble.
agreed, though they were in deep trouble if Baldwin was the starter. Not ideal....
Isnt that most teams? MI doesnt do very well when the starter goes down, Clemson didnt and other dont.

I'm actually pretty comfortable this year that if Shea needs to exit for whatever reason that our backups will do quite well. Your QB might not be out multiple games, but they might be out a few series here and there. And you need that backup roll to be able to fill in.Isnt that most teams? And we always hear how great of a quarterback stable Michigan has them when the starter gets injured all the excuses come.I'm actually pretty comfortable this year that if Shea needs to exit for whatever reason that our backups will do quite well. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.Very true. Did you know that on mNb09's video game system meeeechegan hasn't lost a game in 4 years?
I remember them losing to an unranked Syracuse when the starter went down.Clemson beat a top 20 team with essentially their 3rd string QB.
I don't know man. There were some years where it was pretty darn sketchy and even at #1. The Gardner era, the Threet/Sheridan era, the Denard era when Forcier transferred. This is the first time in a while where I can say that Michigan's 3rd string QB could probably come in an run an effective offense. And we always hear how great of a quarterback stable Michigan has them when the starter gets injured all the excuses come.
Oh I remember the “Shane Morris is a five star stud and is just seasoning and will take over the BigTen” era.I don't know man. There were some years where it was pretty darn sketchy and even at #1. That was one instance at the end of the Hoke era. There's always going to be the "the backup is better than the starter" guys out there. It happened here under Speight and you see some idiots calling for Mcaffree to be put in over Shea. Highly ranked QB prospects don't always work out.Oh I remember the “Shane Morris is a five star stud and is just seasoning and will take over the BigTen” era.

I was excited about O'Korn transferring here. I thought he would provide some good depth at the position, but argued against him when Speight was starting - I was very much in the Speight corner. I really don't think Speight got the credit he deserved. There were Michigan fans pumped about O'Korn as well...

I don't think it really lasted that long. Not many people were calling for Morris in his freshman year, it was in 2014 when Gardner showed no improvement. Morris finally got his chance and then got killed, Hoke left him in and the rest is history. I don't think many wanted Morris heading into 2015. With Rudock coming in I think it was clear the Morris era was over. The peak Morris time was early 2014 when the team was terrible, the offense was terrible and people wanted change. One instance that lasted for three years.
That was the peak time calling him to start but from the second he chose Michigan they hype machine has him as the second coming of Tom Brady. It was just a matter of biding his time until MorrisMania was going to begin. Then Hoke and medical staff tried to severely injure him because it’s all about winning, that was when Michigan realized he wasn’t any good.I don't think it really lasted that long.
