Reportedly leaving around 6 milion on the table so the team can keep S. Livingston..this is huge and really shows how much chemistry this team has and that they will sacrifice a bit to stay together.

Andre Iguodala expected to re-sign with Warriors at discounted rate, per report

Even I'm surprised by how many people are giving up some $ to make it work.

I figured KD and Curry might take a little less, because they are going to make so much anyway what's another $5M per year. But Iggy I thought would want to get paid and Livingston would be odd man out.

Just read the link, no mention of Livingston other than the author hoping he will stay. I doubt it.

I believe Iggy leaves some money on the table, but I doubt it'd be enough for Livingston. The latter has two rings now and looks to have rehabilitated his career, despite the horrific injury that he suffered. It wouldn't surprise me if he gave being a starter a try while getting his money.

Good for Iggy.. You play for championships at the end o the day. Good to see a non-ego driven great teammate.

Deserves a HOF nod. All Star an FMVP. Chauncey Billups like

He's never had a big contract.

He turned down an extension when he was on his rookie deal and in normal Clipper fashion, suffered a catastrophic injury right after.

This is his last shot at it. So, can't be made if he leaves.

I have always had a soft spot for this guy because I believed he would have been great.

I'm thinking they win the next 2 championships, 2018 and 2019. Barring major injury obviously.

After that Klay is a FA, and he may want to branch out to a team that's mainly "his", plus with Durant and Curry getting close to the max it will be hard to re-sign him. Then the next year Draymond has the same thing.

So if I'm another team besides the Spurs or whomever has LeBron, I maybe think to keep building for the future to strike in 2019-2020.

Could be a huge payday for him with these obscene contracts due to the TV money.

Well yeah, everyone in the league is getting numbers that don't make sense 2 years ago. It's one reason the Ws were able to sign KD, the big cap increase.

Loved Livingston coming out of HS.....he had the Magic comparisons due to him being a tall PG.....I think he would have been a great player if he had never suffered the way he has.

Hell, I'd take Livingston on the Lakers if we traded Russell and a 1st rounder for PG.

Yeah that's one reason, the other is testosterone deficiency.

He'd be perfect in NY imo.....and they could use their draft pick on another position.

These are the kind of guys the Knicks will have to chase; the underpaid guys looking for a pay day. The top free agents are steering clear of that mess. Dolan/Jackson pairing was NEVER a good idea.

I have always liked Livingston and thought he'd be a great fit in their offense.
