Encarnacion being out is no excuse for Lindor and Ramirez putting together the worst string of ABs probably ever for them.

Indians beat themselves last night, plain and simple. The series is not over. Tribe fans, get the fucking sand out of your vaginas and sack up.

If you had told us five days ago that the ALDS would go to five games and Kluber would be pitching on regular rest, it might not be what we'd want to hear, but I think we'd all feel reasonably well about our chances.

ROLL TRIBE!

I dont think we are in good shape. Unless our hitters stop making life easy on the yankees pitchers by hacking at anything close, which im not holding my breath. Kluber just didnt look right in game 2 wouldnt be shocked if he didnt last long again.

Yeah, but in fairness, you're the most fair-weather Indians fan on tHoop. Unless they've won nine of their last ten games, you're going to be talking shit.

The lineup is a wreck. Our whole lineup looks like they have zero interest in hitting rigjt now. Literally every AB is a hack fest.

Or maybe the Yankees pitching is better than you thought? The Yankee staff has been making hitters look foolish for much of the year, particularly in the 2nd half, so you gotta give some credit on the otherside as opposed to just blaming the Indians lineup for everything.

Yankees had the 3rd best pitching staff in the AL and 2nd best offense in all of baseball, and you thought a team with those credentials 'didn't worry you?'

I've posted the stats before, but much of the Yankees staff was on a hot streak the final 6-8 weeks of the season.

So calling the team garbage when they are playing like garbage makes one fair weather? Ok then.

The fact these guys couldnt put the Yankees away up 2-0 after how they won game 2 proves that they are the same gutless team that couldnt close out a 3-1 lead in the WS last year.

Have you watched the games? It's like the top part of our order doesn't try to do anything except hack for the fences, which they haven't done all year. I'm not saying it's all us, but there have been a lot of uncharacteristically awful ABs from our best hitters.

I didn't see anyone say the Yankees didn't worry them. I know I said I was nervous before Game 1. I considered the Yankees to be almost as dangerous as the Astros, and a short series should worry anyone, regardless of the opponent.

That said, the Indians had the best pitching staff in baseball and an offense every bit as potent as the Yankees.

No doubt, the Yankees' have pitched great, but the Indians are slashing .173/.275/.316/.590. This isn't the first time they've faced good pitching; they're slumping at the worst possible time.

Agreed, Smoltz has done a great job of highlighting how smart they have pitched to Lindor and Ramirez, capitalizing on their very few weaknesses......So there is definitely some credit that belongs to the Yankee pitching approach

No. Pissing and moaning about a team unless they're on a remarkable win-streak or playoff run -- which is all I've ever seen you do -- makes you a fair-weather fan.

It's called being realistic. Deep down you know they are going to piss down their leg again in game 5. I'm just the one who's saying it.
