This series is over. The Yankees want to win and our whole lineup looks like they could care less. These chumps are gutless and once again forget how to play baseball at the worst time.

fucking embarrassment considering the last 3 months.............

They fire Francona yet?

Rolling Bauer out there on short rest (first time in his career) up 2-1 was beyond dumb.

Wasn't the first start on short rest in his career, and while he wasn't dominant like in game 1, did you notice how many earned runs he gave up last night?

Anyway, who would you have suggested he start instead of Bauer?

I feel like someone kicked my dog.

I could have handled a regular loss, but it's the way it happened. Indians' defense has been fucking lights out in the second half. Four fucking errors?! Six unearned runs?! What. Thee. Fuck?!

Was the first time. You start Salazar and hope for the best. If you lose (which was probable against the yanks' 1), at least you have Bauer available in game 5 if Kluber is off again. Now you have neither Bauer nor Salazar available.

Yankees first 5 innings was the easiest bet I've seen in a long time. Bauer just pitched the game of his life 3 days ago, and now you're turning him around on short rest against the same team? There was no question he was going to get tagged. Just wasted him for no reason.

Honestly, I didn't even want Salazar on the postseason roster. Too up and down this season.

You did see he pitched last night, right? Only lasted an inning and two-thirds, with three K's and zero ER (a lot like Bauer). So even if they'd have gone with him, they'd have likely used Bauer anyway.

I could see starting Tomlin last night. He'd pitched Friday, but only two innings.

Regardless, suggesting that Francona should be fired after a 102-win season because a best of five isn't going his way is what's really stupid. Four errors last night, six unearned runs, the Indians' ace shit the bed in Game 2, the team is slashing .173/.275/.316/.590 for the series and their slugger has a busted ankle, but fire Francona because he's stupid...

I normally look at spelling/grammar nazis with disdain. However, being that this is a term that I coined, I feel like I can correct you without looking like a douche (at least not because of this).

Crapshootidity.

Phonetically, it's nicer. Crap-shoe-tidity.

You're right, though. This is exactly what I was afraid of.

I'm trying to keep positive, but they really have to get their shit together in a hurry.

Smoltz said that about Salazar, virtually unhittable when on, but as we saw last night, he could be all over the place

The firing bit was tongue & cheek. The dumb move bit wasn't.

You don't treat game 4 of the divisional series, when you're up 2-1, like it's game 7 of the world series.

he's not the first tho......Hinch was getting destroyed yesterday for using Verlander out of the pen in a series they were up 2-1...Its common for managers to go for the kill when they have the chance......

With that said, I couldnt believe the numbers in the postseason for pitchers on 3 days rest....Its like a 6+ ERA for those guys.....Thats a track record maybe Tito could have paid more attention to

Not Bauers fault our "defensive specialist" 3B couldnt catch a line drive a MLB 3B should catch. Should have been out of the 2nd clean.

Eh, fielders pick up pitchers all the time, and vice versa....Bauer had a chance to pick up Urshela, who I would guess has saved a lot of runs for that team this season

Well he forgot how to pick up his pitcher at the worst possible time.

The lineup is a wreck. Our whole lineup looks like they have zero interest in hitting rigjt now. Literally every AB is a hack fest.
