I'll admit when I saw the line up I was a little miffed but boy did it work out! Kinsler even got a hit!

Yeah Eovaldi was the #1 star last night, he was fantastic and they needed him to be fantastic. In a 9 inning game the Sox #8 hitter had 6 at bats. Think about that.

I think the Sox really want to win tonight so they can have Sale for Game 1 against Houston. If the series goes 5 then both teams will have a tough matchup against the Stros.

Yes Sevy struggled in the 2nd half but his last 2 regular season starts and the start in the WC had me thinking he was returning to his early season form. Not to mention he was pretty solid in the postseason last year. His stuff wasn't bad last night he just couldn't locate consistently and it seemed like the Sox knew every pitch before he threw it.

Yeah this is obviously true. As the runs kept mounting I almost wish they would stop as I've seen too many teams do 180s in the next game. But then I saw the look on those Yankees fans' faces and I wanted them to get to 20.

He doesn't have the stones to get it done when it counts. I keep hoping for a different result with this guy, but the results are the results. He gives in to the hitters far too much. All the talent in the world, but zero intestinal fortitude.

Yeah that's why I was hoping they scored 30 runs if possible. Teams usually struggle to score 3 or 4 runs the day after especially when facing a good team

The outcome wasn't in doubt after that disaster of a 4th inning, so I ended up getting an unexpected decent night's sleep.

I think the Yanks will be ready to play tonight, but will the manager continue to hamstring them?
