I know it is a long series and anything can happen but is either side confident to face the Astros?

I love that the woman in the Farmers Only commercial looks like a cow. Seems fitting.

The announcer is pissed about Beni stealing up 10-1. STFU it's the post season! The Yankees line-up is perfectly capable of coming back.. You run until you can't run anymore

Cycle. Holy crap. Glad it was Brock too, just a chetry on top of a comeback year after an injury plagued 2017. I thought he was looking toasty, glad I was wrong.

Nice to see the batting practice session the Red Sox had finally ended.

I was on the first base line and I can tell you that Severino was warming up 20 minutes before the game.

I've generally defended Aaron Boone but he screwed up tonight putting Severino in the 3rd. The Sox were hitting him hard and it was just a matter of time.

I find this interesting as the game announcers had commented on his late warm up before the start. Seeing as he cruised through the 1st I don't think it's a story.

It was another 2 TV night with the Sox and Skns for me. The last time the Redskins also laid an egg in prime time, as they always do, but Ortiz flipped Torii Hunter into the bullpen on the other TV. Last night was even better, embarrassing the Spankies in their house in October is pretty damned sweet. I was always a Brock Holt guy even when he was hitting .240, he's just a guy you want on your team. Very happy for him. But the big hit, if there is such a thing in a 16-1 game, was Beni's double.

Let's keep things in perspective here...if the Yankees weren't 1 for 8 with RISP in game 1 this series is 2-1 NY. Last night was a joke, I can't understand how Sevy goes from pitching really well against Oakland in the WC to being horrendous the very next start. I guess it doesn't matter when Eovaldi is pitching like Cy Young.

Have you seen Sevy pitch since late June/early July?

The start vs Oakland was shocking because last night is the pitcher he has been for about 3 months now.
