I think it may be like the Virginia Tech/LSU game in 2003 where Saban got it handed to him by Beamer even when he had all offseason to prepare.

VT has to prove to me they won't completely fall apart, yet again. I never believe the pre-season hype... they now have the prove it to me on the field.

OT - but I just wished Beamer didn't give the clinics on Special Teams play back around 2005 or so. That is like getting Chip kelly to give clinics on his spread / hurry up offense to other D1 coaches. I never understood that move.

I think Bama comes out slow and out of sync. I wouldn't be surprised if VT took an early lead. By the middle of the second quarter the flood gates open up. Bama rolls VT in the second half.

Not thinking any of those players on that Dubose sanctioned team from 1998 is on this one. What do you think? Since Bama holds an 11-1 record I was almost happy for that win.

Our defense will be very good this year, and I think they will keep us in the game until late. I expect a loss, but it should by no means be a blowout.

Blowout because Bama has 3rd and 4th stringers that would grab half the starting spots for Virginia Tech.

Thats just plain STUPID to say before the first snap of the season Bean-O, no one said anyone in Alabama was smart though, did they?

I truly hope your D is that good, its the other side of the line of scrimmage where your problems lie though.
If you guys dont get to them, then its up to LSU or Texas A&M, no one else has a prayer.
