Yes. VT has 9 returning on defense and Beamer is a good coach. There's a small chance, but there is a chance. Small enough that I would be surprised, but I won't say it's impossible.

I voted for Bama in a close game. Now, I dont think its a nail biter. But I think they will cover the spread. Closer than the blowout many expect. I think VT will surprise this season and it starts in game 1 with a tough fought loss vs the best....

Alabama easy. Too much talent for Bama on both sides of the ball. Va Tech will not be able to get their offense moving. 10 points would be the most I can see Tech scoring and 30 for Bama is not out of the question.
