He's said more than once he wants to stay but always throws in a "But you never know" and the ole "It's a business" when he does.

Ah yes that great line right there

Longest home winning streak since the Mantle/Maris days.

:noidea:
Only 4 hits last night but they use a sport starter at the last minute (Schmidt) and use 2 guts in Weber and Marinaccio who I couldn't pick out of a line up, along with King who is looking great again and they give up 3 hits, 2 walks and 1 run. This is pretty amazing. Now off to Toronto who just lost 2 of 3 to Baltimore.
Rizzo is only batting 223 but he gets the hits when they need them and is playing a great first base. The guy is clutch.

Outside of the record, starting to remind me more and more of '98. No me first superstars, just lunchpail guys who do their fucking jobs everyday.

They pitch, they play defense, they hit in the clutch.

Still a long way to go, but this team has a real chance to be special.

Although the record is better it reminds me of 1996. We play today....we win today.

There are 6 teams above 500 in the AL, 4 are in the AL East.

Yankees are now 23-10 against the division, 14-1 in June and have an 11 game lead. Assuming health, do they top the 98 Yanks?

Right now there's 2 teams I see that can keep the Yankees from the title.

1. The Dodgers.

2. The Yankees if they hit a Sept/Oct slump.
