The saddest part is, Butera's 77 OPS+ this year is the 2nd best of his career (112!!!).

At least the Royals didn't have this dude. A -7 OPS+ over 104 plate appearances is pretty remarkable.

I kinda expected this from Judge. Most guys who does a damn good job in the derby tends to struggle afterwards. I was hoping he rejected the invitation for that exact reason.

Swinging at balls out of the zone has been Judge's downfall since the AS break.

True but he is hitting .170 since the ASB and that was entering the game today where he is currently 0-2.

He's not going to hit like that over a season, but there's little reason to think his first half was sustainable. His HR/FB rate was also through the roof. I think his future performance will be more in line with, say, Giambi with the Yanks. That's still a very good hitter.

A .400 BABIP is very difficult to sustain over a full season.
