Fuck these idiots. I knew they weren't going to sell. There is no way that a family that inherited 3.6 billion in 2007 is now 425 million in debt. Especially after we taxpayers paid for half of their ballpark in 2010.

The only way they are losing money is if the current generation of Pohlads is spending money faster than they can make it. And from personal experience with them, I can see that.

Twins get swept by the Cards to open the season. Did not see that coming- esp. since I think the Twins first 3 in the rotation are pretty good- Lopez, Ryan and Ober.

Detroit fans- what do you guys think about Torkelson and Mize? Both were what? #1 overall picks or close? What do you think about those guys this year?

They’ve screwed most everything up with Tork. He didn’t get enough time in the minors to start with. Just give him everyday AB’s, somewhere.

Mize just needs to stay healthy and he should be a capable backend of the rotation guy. Not all that consequential imo as Detroit has a lot of options for the 4th and 5th spot. Didnt care for the Cobb signing, but he’ll be available eventually. Plus Maeda if need be. And Manning is there in Toledo.

Nice start to the season but strange to say the BP has not been great. It’s early and I don’t anticipate they stay as dominant as last year bc it was insane.

That series could have easily been a sweep on the road to start off 3-0 but can’t complain winning a series vs a playoff team

I hope Ortiz has gotten some of his shit figured out.

I think the offense is going to be okay. Manzardo looking good early helps a lot. They scored some runs in that first series and Jose did not really do anything. I think the bullpen will be top 5---- but that is a big downswing by #1 by a huge margin. Who knows. We will see.

I just feel so much better about the rotation this year than last year. Gavin and Bibee at the top are gonna be good- and Bieber should be back at some point. Kinda excited to see what Doug Nikhazy can do if he gets the call at some point- a lot of people like him.

No clue what to expect from Allen....and it is only spring training- but Ortiz looked ROUGH. Hopefully he gets it together.
