Where does Lewis play when the Twins bring him back up? He's split his time between 3rd and SS in his rehab. I'd like to see him concentrate on 3B for a while, as that is the hole the team has right now.

Jhoan Duran threw 6 pitches faster than 103 today striking out 2 of 3 hitters he faced.

I think 85.....

I think once McKenzie and Civale come back the Guardians will settle down some......the bullpen has been overtaxed and its showing.

I think most of the offense will get going as well- the one that worries me is Gimenez. He has looked really bad. Even when I thought he was going to get going and had a good game or two - he has followed it up with crap.

--question for you-- Is Alex Kiriloff actually going to stay healthy and find his potential? That would be HUGe for you guys. I picked him up in my fantasy baseball elague.

Kirilloff is a decent 1B with some speed and quite a bit of power. He can handle the bat well and doesn't strike out a whole lot. He takes his walks when the pitcher nibbles.
As to the Guardians pitching, I agree. They are overworking the pen quite a bit and none of the pitchers gets a day off regularly. Tito is one of the better managers in the business, so they should be fine.

Lewis, AK, Julien. Play these guys every day. Get Larnach and Wallner more ABs too. Move Kepler and Polanco for relievers.

The youth is the talent

Oh and stop batting Correa ahead of guys that are blatantly better than him

Twins picked up a good win tonight, coming from behind to walk off the Guardians. Pablo Lopez didn't have much in the 6th inning, but the bullpen picked him up and Willi Castro hit a sac fly in the 9th to win the game.

Huge win. We needed one of those. Castro been a massive utility guy. Pagan did some work! Solano with a nice sub game. Royce and AK are the future. Sadly, our manager/FO(they likely tell rocco) are too stupid and we keep batting Buxton and COrrea 3/4 when it should be our two actual best hitters.

Correa needs the IL. Bring up Wallner. Rest Buxton for a while. Correa and Buxton are literal hinderances to the team right now so have them both just get better physically and mentally. Other guys can hit.

Solano has been a very pleasant surprise. I was confused about his signing in the first place because he didn't have a defined position. But he's established himself as a good veteran presence.

I don't think Kepler has any value and we might as well just DFA him. Polanco is a pro and a vet that I would like to hang onto, at least through this year.

I don't want to overreact to two games, but our best offensive performances in weeks are games where Buxton and Correa didn't start and/or didn't finish the games. Their value is very, very low right now and I think that they both could benefit from a trip to the IL.

They are our hands down to worst hitters with RISP. Which is why its insane they bat where they do. And for Buxton its a big issue. He was 9 for 62 last year with RISP as well. Hes like DFA level bad in those spots. Major issue. Also there is literally zero point to him being DH only. He still wears down and his bat as a DH is fucking awful. His value as a baseball player is so damn low now as a DH only who barely steals.

Agree on Kepler. Time for Wallner. Pretty inexcusable we demoted a guy who reached base 8 times in a row just to activate Kepler??? When guy is going that well you hold off on the activation at the very least. Just really stupidly run team.

Look at our run differential compared to rest of division. We are without a doubt the best team in this divsion. Like its not close. But we lose a ton of close games. That comes down to philosphy and in game strategy from the top.

The fact that we got rid of Luis arraez has made me just uninterested in this twins team. I seriously despise them.

The Twins are the worst run team in the history of sports. Should be boat racing this division. Instead, 4 runs in 4 games.

Keep Matt Wallner in AAA mashing baseballs, not needed in this lineup.

We have Donovan Solano batting 4th and DHing
