I worked the season ticket holder viewing party at Target Field. I'm finally sitting down with a drink now. People are generous tippers in the early part of the season. Cold out, but people were in good spirits. A quick win helps with that too.

In my youth I was a server at buffalo wild wings. The tips are amazing when their team is winning.

Some comments from today's game. Pablo Lopez looked pretty good. It is nice seeing Buxton running free and easy. Larnach could be a nice surprise this year. Duran and his splinker could be ridiculous in the 9th.

Yep. I love watching Buxton play baseball 30 times a year.

Duran is also prone to severe control issues. It will rear it's ugly head more than once this year.

Twins pitching should be really solid IF they stay healthy(have Ober as a good 6th though) and Rocco lets them pitch deep(big IF).

Because then they can use the main bullpen arms like today.

Offense is gonna be very shaky. Especially until Polanco and Kiriloff(will he?) return.

We all know Rocco will go back to pulling starters the instant they hit 5 innings, regardless of performance. How else can Rocco use the "our bullpen was just tired" excuse after he insists on using them all every single night regardless of efficiency.

The 5 AL Central teams scored a total of 5 runs today. 3 teams got shut out. Went 1-4 with the 1 win being in the division.

Guess the good news is they only gave up 11 runs between the 5 teams as well.

Rebuilding teams are difficult to watch for any sport but especially for baseball season. 162 games can be brutal

I’m ready for some USFL in two weeks. And the Panthers are gonna be just as awful as the Tigers.

Atleast Michigan won their spring game yesterday. You know, against themselves.

Rebuilding teams are difficult to watch for any sport but especially for baseball season. 162 games can be brutal

It's the fact they had 6 years of top picks and have not moved the needle at all. But beyond that the lineup shouldn't be this trash. Last year was damn near all time bad.

Good thing they forced DD out. Worst decision ever.

Pretty tough to have all 3 long season detroit teams rebuilding simultaneously. And the only one that is definitely being ran competently is the Red Wings.

Pistons are putting all their eggs in this offseason

I hope Harris can do some things but leaving the franchise to AA for 7 years was an abysmal mistake

Yea man. 5 years max. You should have your prospects floating to the big leagues no later than that.

The way they sold off their pieces was horrendous.

The JD Martinez deal was an all time bad trade.
