We badly got to get healthy. No clue when Miranda and Correa are back. Have to get a pitcher, Paddack is hurt again and sucks anyways. Go get someone.

Royce is coming back, but a fucking mental decision to have him go on a rehab assignment. There's nothing for him to try and do in AAA. Just risks unnecessary injury. Earlier in year he went 4/23 in rehab. Proceeded to go walk, walk, homer against the Yanks in game 1. Stupid.

Can't cherry pick starts for any sort of statistical recognition like all star and awards.

But throw out Obers disasterous starts against his kryptonite Royals, and he's having a fantastic season.

3.04 ERA in his 17 non Royals starts. Unfortunately for him, the 2 vs KC were so bad, his ERA is a full run higher for the season haha.

Seems pretty reflective of a guy with a dangerously high HR/FB% and low GB% to me, idk. You're gonna have a couple starts that are unplayable when you have that profile. The problem with guys like Ober is there is most *always* a couple starts that utterly destroy their numbers and it kinda caps their upside if they got a couple near auto-loss outings in them. He probably won't escape the 1.5-2.5 fWAR bracket most ever, imo.

Thing is though, as I showed he's been remarkably consistent overall this year. Outside of KC. Even if he's had some blah starts. He's truly had 2 disasters(1 that was a total debacle) and both were KC. Who he's never been good against. Its just an odd match up.

Hell, the first start vs KC was start 1 of the year and was rumored to be pitch tipping. And it was start one. So even if you just tossed that one out the numbers are very good.

Point was he's been fantastic for 90% of his year. His FIP also aligns.

In his other 17 starts only 3 times has he allowed 4+ runs. All 3 were 4, 4 and 5. And its usually 1 bad inning.

Really the only downside to his remarkable consistency is while he's almost always certain to go 5 innings and keep you in the game. He rarely goes more than 6.

Miamivice being on here still would be hysterical.

Wow now that's going back. Speaking of other former not-all-there people that were on this site do you remember this fatass ninja/lawyer?

:thumper:

He lost it so bad he started saying he was going to sue people for making fun of him.

He claimed he was a lawyer and a martial arts expert. Oh yeah and then there was his ramblings that the tiny crystals on weed is really PCP.

at the beginning of the season trying to develop him was fine---- at this point in a pennant race he cannot keep being put out there.

Gotta do something

Guess I say that and there's some drama around him now.

Apparently he cleaned out his locker last night. But also hasn't been demoted yet. So no one is sure what exactly happened.

Personally I think you all should put Martinez at short. We've already talked about how his bat looks for potential development. But he's a pretty dog shit centerfielder. I wouldn't keep him there right now.
