Royals just grabbed Hunter Harvey off the Nats. Good peripherals. Arguably their new best reliever right now.
Meh, they already have Maikel Garcia isn't gonna post a 630 or whatever OPS going forward and Cayden isn't a super serious prospect in my book. Flier/Deadline fodder not a system mover. Especially with a top 10 draft selection and the deadline still upcoming, I am not really sweating losing 3B. If it was Blake Mitchell or Carter Jensen I would have lost my shit, but this is fine, imo. No need to go for a WS with this group, just hold pat and get pieces that can help you over the next 2-3 years, Harvey does that. Wallace likely doesn't, and probably not even better than Garcia. Team is in a good spot to benefit for some rebounds from slow offensive starts and a WC spot, not need to go scorched earth. If I am meh on anything, it's giving up the extra pick.Ya'll need bullpen help bad. But that seems like a steep price for Hunter Harvey
The market is going to be tough if that is the price for a middle of the road RP. I am thinking CLE might have to pay a very steep price for a SPYa'll need bullpen help bad. But that seems like a steep price for Hunter Harvey
Dude can’t stay on the field tooSpeaking of trades, trading for Chisholm is actually kinda pointless outside of keeping Frazier from DHing and leading off I guess. The return for Chisholm would have to be pathetic for the Royals to trade for Chisholm and for it to be an unironically good move:
Need more pitching, namely relievers, more than they need hitting per se, imo. If they're trading for an OF'er, I'd rather it be Luis Robert,
The Royals would essentially be paying through the nose for a guy who is not obviously worth more than .5 a win over the guy they are replacing going forward. If you're going to swing big on a OF'er, Luis Robert if anything makes more sense. Makes more sense to just add pitchers at that point.Chisholm still has loads of potential at 26 but I don't think any of the teams in the central need to give up any sort of assets to bank on that potential
Right now he's just mid, without set position.
The AS break came at a good time. Cleveland has been hitting like shit. In a slump just like every team has experienced. Keep it up after the break and they could fall even further.
He was playing ridiculous too. There goes my fantasy teamLucky for you guys Twins have gotten ass fucked by injuries at the same time so not gaining too much.
Plantar fasciitis for Correa again is a nightmare
