I really would not mind a deal for Taylor Ward and Tyler Anders of the Angels. IT would not be cheap- but not nearly as expensive as a Bichette or Luzardo, etc....

relief prospects do not get much hype--- but the Guardians have a really good one in Andrew Walters in AAA. He could easily help now if they need relief depth.

2 of the Guardians prospects from the last draft- former Duke SS Alex Mooney and Cj Kayfus from Miami have done really well----- the biggest guy to jump is Tugboat Wilkinson though- lefty thats throwing gas. They have some ammo to make a move or two.

Buxton is best player ever when healthy...rare

id take Jose over anyone in the Central....he always plays- injured or not--- makes winning plays that just dont show up in the box score- incredible baseball IQ, and produces. He will have another top 5 MVP finish this year...he just keeps putting together what will be an interesting hall of fame resume.

Kwan is still not eligible for league leader-- he should get there sooner than later- but geez- batting .380 with a .446 obp? He definitely added to his strength in the offseason and made some nice adjustments.

What a player Kwan is--- gold glove and ideal leadoff man. He is the guy they MUST re-sign long term. 3 more years after this one---- so we are not at critical mass yet--- but they gotta get it done. Give him the Gimenez contract and dont even think about it.

Agree, although Witt is up there and he will pass Jose strictly based on age. Witt is going to be a great player for a long time

It is DFA time for Thielbar. There are lefties in AAA or that we could find on the waiver wire that I'd trust more.

Agree, although Witt is up there and he will pass Jose strictly based on age. Witt is going to be a great player for a long time

right now THIS season- just overall the leadership and baseball IQ and what he does for the lineup- Jose--- but yah long tgerm Witt. Jose has such a great contract too.


I know its gonna be hard to make the All Star game as an outfielder in the AL- but Kwan is certainly going to get big consideration even while missing time. To qualify for league leader status you need about 200 at bats right now--- he is at 158.....he will get there sooner than later batting leadoff in what has been a pretty good lineup.

Tucker, Judge and Soto are shoe-ins for OF for the AL All Star team......I dont know if they will just give Julio Rodriguez a spot or vote him in but they might.

after that you have a bunch of guys- Yordan Alvarez, Brent Rooker, Taylor Ward, Adolis Garcia, Riley Greene, Daulton Varsho....

I think Kwan should make it over most of those guys.

His issue is he cant catch up to velo. And he has awful plate discipline. Brutal combo

Greene won’t make it.

Too many options from the Tigers pitching staff. And Detroit isn’t good enough to send three or four guys.

Yep. He's one of those raw talents that could never put it all together, mainly because of injuries. He also strikes out way too much, even for his era.

I heard he was great when healthy. Let this Royce kid play more than some games, how about one season...that's a good start. I've seen a ton of guys look great for a short period of time and I mean multiple seasons, not 60 games.

Regardless, he was drafted 1st overall. He should have very high expectations.
