Possibly a chance for Cleveland to take a bigger lead in the division. We will see. KC is pesky.

KC has 4 against NY and 3 against LA

Obviously hyperbolic. But I am not even being a greedy homer when I say baseball deserves to see this kid stay healthy. So goddamn fun to watch. Had another nice play at 3B too.

Skubal’s ERA through 13 starts is the lowest for a Tiger since 1945.

1945 was the second straight year Hal Newhouser won MVP.

But it was Al Benton who had the lower ERA through 13 starts. At .99.

Not what I would’ve assumed. (Prince Hal’s ERA was also lower, 1.83, than TS’s right now, 1.92)

Skubal is niiiiiiice

And he’s only faced the twins lefty platoon lineup for 5 innings

So people can’t even claim stat padding.

I would say the best place to go out is the West 25th area. Market Garden Brewery and Town Hall and the surrounding bars. It is just outside of downtown proper. After game beers- go to West 25th area. Dont go to --W. 6th and W 9th St. its like the clubby area which absolutely no longer appeals to me.

by the ball park- hit East 4th St. for pregame and food its in the very middle of downtown and like a 2 minute walk from the ballpark. It is a very nice area--- its a street with closed to traffic and a lot of bars and restaurants. A lot of good restaurants there- but Michael Symon's bbq spot is there- Mabel's--- i have gone there for lunch once in a while and its solid.

A more upscale dinner- Cleveland Chop is nice and Il Venetian are good options--- they arent crazy expensive- a good place i have taken clients. They arent like the high end stuff that is crazy expensive but still really good for a nicer dinner. Both are downtown.

if you are getting out of downtown- there are a lot of other options. But what i have suggested is the "downtown" area if you are staying in a hotel in the city.
Ended up going to thirsty parrot, harry buffalo and flannerys.

Loved the park. It's probably my favorite of the ones we have been to. Sat in the bullpen seats for an inning.

Had a witt bomb go off a friend's hands. Thumb was pretty bruised

nice- so you stayed by the stadium the whole time which is cool....Flannerys is right at the top of East 4th- which is a cool area-- -you saw how they have the whole street shut off to traffic? tons of bars and restaraunts, etc... cool area. Too bad the one game got rained out.

Witt is unbelievable. Mightve taken over best player in the AL Central from Jose.

I was at work. What did he do?

Varland 63 pitches and 1 hit through 5

Brings in thielbar(like the 8th vet on this roster we refuse to cut or at least demote their role)

It was blackmon(kills lefties) and two righties(Thielbar can’t get out righties)

Rockies went- single, walk, homer, double. 4-0. 0 outs.

Just moronic and gutless running of the team

He's a freaking robot. That he'd be forced to pull a guy through 5 innings, no matter what, by the analytics just proves that he's under the thumb of the idiots in the office.

Well,

They continue to ignore the analytics of Vazquez catching Lopez

8 era. Let’s just go with the pairing again! Need that bat in the lineup!

Already 1-0 in the 1st. Aided by a Vazquez throwing error.

If this guy doesn’t get fucking hurt soon. We have no chance

Austin Gomber is horrendous.

Entered with a miraculous 3.38 era but a 4.82 FIP.

Regression is hitting today. Farmer and Margot haven’t even gotten out by him(well if you don’t count farmer twice on the bases)
