Man I can't believe the 49ers pulled this off. Just crazy.

Anyways I wanted to give props specifically to Ahmad Brooks for what he did yesterday. He has been a playoff ace these last two years. He was totally fired up last year against the Saints and went absolutely nuts in that game. He did it again yesterday. Even though he doesn't flash a lot of stats, he has been a force, and picked it up on his side to help offset J. Smith not playing at 100% (or even close). McDonald held his own yesterday too to help him out, but you could really feel the energy that Brooks was bringing out there. Matt Ryan would probably give a waive out to Brooks as well, but unfortunately his arm is in a sling for the next few weeks while he's on vacation in Mexico drinking pink drinks with umbrellas in them.

He doesn't get a lot of recognition with all the other All Pro LB's, so I just wanted to give it up to him for putting together another awesome playoff performance yesterday. Hopefully he can continue this against Oher in the... in the what? In the SUPER BOWL bitches!

yep, every down OLB's isn't easy to find. Brooks isn't spectacular but he's consistent all around.

why don't other linemen or LB's try to knock down passes? in this past game, did anyone (Justin has a pass) else raise their arms?

Most underrated guy on our defense and kudos to him from starting off as a troubled supplemental draft pick to maturing into a pro bowl caliber defender.

Ya last year i felt nobody would score on us. I dont get that feeling that much this year. Seems they might be tired from playing a lot and banged up from the season. Dont get me wrong i love the D and wouldnt pick anyone elses over ours but they have been shakey lately.

Thank god our offense is putting up points this year.

I also read somewhere recently that he didn't hit certain incentives and his income will be lower than expected next season.

Driving Matt Ryan to the turf on that last drive and tipping the 3rd down pass was huge. If he didn't tip that pass, it looked as though White had separation and was open. Brooks isn't flashy and doesn't get a lot of pub, but he's solid.

exactly... I rather have no defense than a 49ers defense... but due to our offense's potential becoming reality in terms of scoring, it's certainly leveling out or making up for the poor performances by the defense...

but injuries did hit the team that's for sure.... Aldon also disappearing for the sacks(although he's in on pressures and stopping the run).
