Dallas would have like $130M dead cap, I believe lol
I wasn't sure how all that worked. What is Dallas is allowed to transfer to Cleveland? It isn't like Dallas cut him and taking on entire guarantee they just gave him. What is required of the trading team responsibility wise on current contracts?

Cleveland could make it work. Convert a lot of that money to cash and take a low cap hit until 2029 or 2030 where they have astronomical cap hits like the Watson deal.

But short-term for Dallas the dead cap would be like the largest in nfl history x2

I'm a fan at what they've done at the position.

Someone posted that in the "Who will QB the Steelers "thread...

To which I said, hey, at least change is admitting they were wrong about a guy. Although if you read between the lines they are making a habit out of pissing QBs off.

So Schefter is reporting that it seems more likely that Rodgers retires.

Have to laugh... Spent a day visiting the Steelers facility before deciding it seemed better to just retire.

Looks like this is the debunk of the Prescott / Watson trades. Didn't even know they were talking Watson, which would have made this even more obvious than it was.
