Says that Cleveland is working on a blockbuster deal to trade Greg Newsome, the #2 overall pick and other picks to the Cowboys for Dak Prescott. Supposedly, the team said they were going to work on this deal, which is what warmed Garrett into resigning with Cleveland, not just the money he was given.

So we will see, but a hell of a rumor.

Prescott struggles in the playoffs, is in in his 30's, coming off a torn hamstring, highest annual contract in NFL history with Watson occupying $45 million a year guaranteed sitting on the bench. They just gave Prescott this contract, so not sure how the cap would be affected by either team, if Prescott has a no trade clause in his contract without approval, and he was just given $80 mill in signing bonus, which I think the Cowboys have to account for it in their cap at least.

Thoughts on this rumor?

My buddy who is a Browns fan said this would probably mean that Dallas drafts Sanders, and in the next year or two, Deion might be the new HC. To me, this sounds like some bat shit crazy stuff that Jones would piece together.

Id be curious to see who pays for what in Daks deal. That determines how good of a trade it is

It's a fake rumor. Other sources confirmed there have been zero talk about Dak
