More that Mahomes fellow as with the Steeler QBs last half decade or so doubt KC does much.Do I trust them? What choice do we have?? Stay mired in football purgatory or stick their necks out and take a chance on starting a new era for the franchise? I dont see Art Rooney selling the team any time soon, so I'm gonna have to opt for him and his front office finding a new coach
Lets not forget that for a long time, the Kansas City Chiefs sucked balls, they were a team with pockets of good fortune sprinkled here and there, but which never amounted to squat, a rudderless ship in the sea of NFL irrelevance. Eventually, they got it right, and the same owner (Hunt) who was there when they looked listless, is the same owner there now
Zero. May catch a break final week. No way we win in Bmore and seems most teams we'd like to win face teams who don't need to win.Yep
No point winning
I agree that it's harder to get a good coach than it looks.... And I honestly don't believe they are looking to make a change. But if they did, you'd have to figure that the job would be appealing for most of the big names in the business. Someone like Vrabel could spend more than a decade there. But, I guess the Steeler way has been to identify guys that aren't as well known, which as you mention is harder than it might seem.More that Mahomes fellow as with the Steeler QBs last half decade or so doubt KC does much.
I wonder if some Steeler fans just assume bringing in exceptional coaches is easy since for them so far it has been? as you kind of alluded even teams who look successful struggle for long periods finding coaches at times. That's more the norm, I think.
Yeah I agree they likely are not looking. while upsetting to some or even many of their fans they should be happy the FO does not care what the fans think.I agree that it's harder to get a good coach than it looks.... Probably, but their defenses have been plenty good other seasons without LeBeau and Whisenhunt. Arians? I like him but curious how he does without Prime Ben there. Isn't to say would not succeed as guessing he's done well with many other QBs?I think most are understating how important LeBeau, Whisenhunt and yes, even Arians was in the team's success. Hard to recapture that level of genius in their coaches.
