Yeah, anyone who wants Dalton over Burrow doesn't know football...lol


Was also nice that Dalton benefited from a top 9 defense with regards to points allowed in 2011, 8th in 2012, 5th in 2013, 11th in 2014, 2nd in 2015, 8th in 2016.....

I mean - if Burrow had a defense that was routinely in the top 10 in points allowed 6 years - how many AFCN, AFCC, and SB's do you think he might have? Maybe 1 SB win? Probably another AFCC win, or 2...likely 1-2 more AFCN titles?

Regardless - Dalton was very good at what he did, but there is no mistake that he could not carry a team by himself. He was a great game manager, but he was far from the guy that could elevate his team into the next tier, as evidence by his 0-5 record in the playoffs while in Cincinnati. Burrow has 5 wins in just 2 appearances, 1 SB, and 2 AFCC....

That image's choice of stats is hilarious... Rushing TDs over passing TDs, playoff appearances over playoff wins, Yds/completion over yards passing, pro bowls is just a complete joke anymore (Tyler Huntley).

I remember when we played Arizona in 2015 and the Bengals were in the middle of a terrific season. They put up a comparison between Dalton and Peyton Manning which showed that they were even on most stats through the first 5 years with Dalton ahead in a few things. Dalton's average stats always looked pretty darn good during those first 5 years..... And that's because he and Marvin were excellent at beating the teams they should beat - Generally at 1:00 on Sunday. Dalton would get a lead, let the D do their thing and we'd win comfortably. The problems started when we had to play teams that were as good or better. No chance in those games.

On the other hand, a lot of Burrow's best games have come against winning opponents. Some of his worst games have come against teams we should roll.

I know we all have fun on here...and often I defend things Cincinnati - but...yeah...I have NO interest in this what-so-ever. This is...awful sounding....

Sounds like a recipe for spontaneous combustion. Absolutely could not trust a fart in that situation.
