I thought the Lions Organization would be the only team to ever want an Ivory Tower at the bottom. But the Browns pitched a tent in 2017. Now that the Bengals are tanking at 0-9 with 7 games left... are the Bengals on their Titanic?

the Lions could be the only team, because the Buccs did it 1st. I believe they actually went 0-26 or something close to that.
but yeah. I think the Bengals are in danger of adding their name to the list of a perfect record.

The Lions were the first team to have an 0-16 season. The Buccaneers had an 0-14 season as an expansion team. The Chicago Cardinals had two 0-10 seasons (29 straight losses).

No, coming from a Bengals fan, trust me, they will fuck this up too. Somehow, they will win just enough games to screw themselves out of a surefire draft pick. There are a lot of bad teams, so 2 or 3 wins will knock them out of the top 5.

IDK...I'm hopeful that week 12 is not their week for a win....but trying to break in a fresh QB with zero experience to see what "they have" in Ryan Finley could push them awful close to 0-16. They do face the Jets, and MIA...you might be right though.

Either way...most likely a 4th rd pick is not going to take this job next yr if CIN has a top 5 pick...it will likely be a QB unless he does win 3 or 4 games.

If the Dolphins won 2 I think the Bengals get a win somewhere. Probably against Cleveland

I wouldn't bet on it but we will see. It might not be as rare as a perfect season unbeaten but it's close. Hard to predict these kinds of things.
Fwiw, I don't think they beat the Browns or Steelers but they are divisional games and look what a pathetic Falcons team did to a contending Saints team. Crazy shit can happen. The Jets and Phins are both beatable though. There are a lot of really shitty teams right now. Got about 6 teams fughting over the top 3-4 pucks in the draft and about another 7-8 teams marginally better. Kinda sad when you look at it.
