He wants to talk about the last couple years because if you start stretching it out a decade or more then you will see that there are multiple teams in the SEC who haven't been at Oregons States level.

Again, if you want to compare 2nd, 3rd and 4th shittiest teams I'm your huckleberry. Get back to me when you want to compare a decade of Zonas or Cal. When your shit conference can't even win 2/3 of your G5 games over 2 years and you having a losing record against P5's all your arguments are moot unitl that changes.

Agreed, but for the Pac-12 that just makes them the latest flag bearer of ineptitude. With the exception of USC and Washington, they are pretty good at taking turns. I still can't think of another team that has had worse two year stretch, and I'm not sure the #68 class is going to turn it around for them. That much suckage breeds more suckage. I honestly don't care, except for when our resident honk starts telling me how many P5 teams the Pac-12 plays every year.

I hear ya. I think OSU will be better and they seem like they have a decent coach to get them back to .500 and a bowl game. I think.

An I hear ya on the last part.

Since 2000 Oregon State football has finished ranked five times and one of those finished #4 in the country-. Let me know when Chattanooga - Mercer and the Citadels of the world the SEC plays do that. Heck throw in Duke , Mississippi State, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Oregon State in this time had players like TJ Houshmandzadeh, Chad Johnson, Stephen Jackson, Derek Anderson, Nick Barnett, Brandon Cooks;

Since you put the last two years as your timeline. In 2017 UCLA beat Texas A&M. UCLA could not navigate through their PAC schedule to be bowl eligible, yet Texas A&M won enough in their conference to be bowl eligible. In that same year Cal beat Ole Miss and could not win enough conference games to be bowl eligible, yet Ole Miss did - hmmmmm

Coastal Carolina and Florida A&M won 3 games which is 3 more than any team 2017 Oregon State beat. They also beat Ole Miss and New Mexico State. All four of those teams would have rick rolled an Oregon State team that eeked out a 3 point win over a winless Portland State team. Incidentally, the only other team Portland State was within a touchdown of was Cal Poly....whose only win was also over Portland State.

Jesus Christ...if your going to use transitive property, you should at least try to stay away from games that feature historically epic fails. UCLA and Texas A&M could play 100 times and that would still be their only win. Sumlin got deservedly fired for losing that game. Who rushes for 300 yards in the first half, then rushed 13 times in the 2nd...up by 34...Kevin Sumlin, that's who.

Go ahead an tell us how great Coastal Carolina and Florida A&M are.LOL. While you're at it tell us how great Mercer, the Citadel and Chattanooga are.
I love how you say they won three games or four games . Well no shit. They play an entire schedule of Troy and Texas State type teams. If Mercer plays Coastal Carolina one of them is going to win. Does that make them good? No.
When's the last time any of those teams were ranked over the majority of SEC teams like Oregon State has?

UCLA and Texas A&M have played each other six times . It's 3-3.
Buy hey you said if they play 100 times UCLA would win once. SEC math?

I love the facepalms and bullshits. but I haven't seen anyone produce a team with a shittier two year run. Two wins over FCS teams that have a combined record of 1-21. and an overtime comeback after and epic collapse over Colorado who was beating Oregon St 31-3 halfway through the 3rd quarter. Let's get real too, it's not like Oregon St was doing this in an era of PAC dominance. The fact that they are this bad when the PAC is under .500 againts P5 OOC and 21-12 versus G5, speaks volumes about the pathetic state of Oregon St football. How can you argue that Oregon State would be a competitive G5 team when the conference as a whole is not winning 2/3 of their G5 games...
2015 - 2016 Kansas would give 'em a close run. 2-22. Beat the might Rhode Island Rams and the rusty cows of Texas.:heh:

And you know this how? Hell RT, the transitive property is better than making a statement like this. Unless they play 100 times we'd never know. It could be 100-0, 50-50, 0-100...or any damn thing in between.

Stanford isn't projected to be top ten next season but their out of conference schedule is crazy.
Using last seasons finish rankings they play

#5 Notre Dame
@ #21 Northwestern
#11 UCF

Gotta give props to Shaw and crew

Given the lead times required for CFB scheduling, it is likely that the schedule was made when UCF was 0-12, Northwestern was 5-7, and ND was 4-8...

They scheduled UCF in 2014 after they went 12-1 in 2013
They scheduled Northwestern in 2011 after they went 7-3 in 2010
they play Notre dame pretty much every year.

I would say you were wrong but that would give you too much credit.

But good thing for Tenn. Chatanooga and UAB and GA State ( who Tenn plays this season) can be scheduled every year and you know what you're getting. Or did they schedule them when they were ranked. lol
