Dozier batting .327/.372/.763 with 24 HR since the ASB. He hit 13 home runs in August and he's already hit 6 home runs in September. He also batted .369/.435/.728 in June.

Kluber and Dozier. I think Villar will drop off a bit next year (hitting "only" .294 despite having a BABIP just south of .400), though he should still get on base enough to make use of his speed. But Dozier has good power at a premium position (though he probably won't hit 38+ home runs again) and Kluber's been one of the best starting pitchers in MLB over the last three years now.

Always a treat to ponder the mind of the ''different''. After you get past the fact that doug probably really thinks "Huston" is the correct spelling, it gets interesting. Doug, in his EFFORT to degrade Kluber, selects a game from early MAY, that Kluber lost...while ignoring the fact that Kluber has won 6 of his last 7 starts (with one no decision). Kind of a strange occurrence when you consider that some posters complain to doug that he never checks or use stats. It seems when he tries....he fucks that up too.

I also look forward to his convoluted thinking that will, somehow, propel the UCF football team into a serious threat to the Wolverines on Saturday. Tells us how the UCF Soft Kitties will be "tough" doug. LOL

Id keep Kluber before Dozier personally. He's top tier for Ks. If it's OBP, not BA, that helps Dozier though.

Doug (politely)....stick to downward spirals, sharpness, steamrolling, breaking one offs, etc. Getting involved in stats only gets you slapped in the face. Kluber was AL pitcher of the month for August. It was just announced a couple of days ago. Verlander was pitcher of the month of July. See they announced JV's honor in August....that probably confused you.

BTW doug. Are you at all concerned with the Orioles? Detroit has a far better chance of edging out the Orioles for a wild card spot than they do catching the Tribe. Currently they are tied. Do you see any downward spirals coming for Baltimore? Wild card spots are not the best way to get into the post season....but it is better than nothing. Yet, I have not heard you ever mention the WC spot or any of the teams Detroit needs to keep in front of to grab one of the two places.
