That's right Wolverines play Powder Puff Team #1 this Saturday. I'm thinking Harbaugh should wear his pink outfit for this game. Maybe have his players wear little white anklets instead of their regular socks.

But as we both know, JV's a finisher. He gets better as he goes. The writing is on the wall for the also rans.

If Verlander was allowing home runs at his career average (0.8/9) instead of a career-high 1.2/9, I think he'd be in the top three for CY. His ERA would be under 3.00, I'm pretty sure. And all his other key numbers this season are among the best seasons of his career. The damn long bombs have killed him.

If Cleveland goes just 14-16 the rest of the way, they still have 90 wins. KC would have to go 22-7 (.759) to win the ALC outright.

The Tigers would have to go 19-10 in that same scenario. They have a favorable schedule, but definitely also need to play better against Cleveland and KC than they have so far this season.
