More of an indictment of the Royals' offense that of Sanchez's pitching prowess.

It never ceases to amaze me how ''fans'' get so carried away over a player's performance in one game. I don't mean only doug, there are several fans who haunt these pages and other places, who will now swear the Anibal Sanchez has turned his career around and is the backbone of Detroit's future. How they can ignore the fact that he was 6-12 with and ERA around 6.30 coming into the game...and has been a bottom of a rotation starter (when not injured) for over a year and a half...mystifies me.

I'd LOVE to get a cold pastrami sandwich and a warm coke for Sanchez...but I doubt any other team would offer that much.

And now Ausmus took Sanchez out after 100 pitches and some bottom rung relief pitcher lets the Royals tie it up. Just more proof the Sanchez is the team's ''savior''. (And Ausmus needs to be fired)
